Day 11 – Your favorite love song
“Can You Feel The Love Tonight” from The Lion King (1994)
I’m pretty sure this is one of the first songs I memorized from a Disney movie. My parents still have The Lion King soundtrack on CD, and I have fond memories of listening to it and singing along with my mom in the car.
This is one of those songs that gives me chills at the start. I’m pretty sure I learned to play it in orchestra class at one point, too. It’s hard to believe this year is the 25th Anniversary of the movie!

Yes – regular chorus, select choir, singing lessons, & some solo/duet performances. 😌

Haha! I was in orchestra. I like to think I have a decent singing voice.
I don’t think it matters so much if you have a good voice, if you have fun (&, y’know, aren’t completely tone deaf). In choir, it’s about the meshing of the voices, I think.
Also, WE SHOULD TOTALLY GO TO DO KARAOKE IN KOREA TOWN WHEN YOU COME TO NEW YORK!! It’s amazing, they give you a little room with just your group, there are tons of songs… I think they serve food & you can BYOB.

That’s true. My niece is in her middle school chorus, and taking voice lessons.
