Laura Beth Vardaro has been writing since age 10, when her self-authored and self-illustrated book entitled “Electro Girl” was selected for recognition for the annual “Young Authors” contest in Chesapeake, Virginia. Since 2007, she has also been involved in editing and publishing, including the Oscar F. Smith High School literary magazine and Longwood University’s student-run newspaper, The Rotunda. She has been published in “Voices of the Future,” an anthology of high school scholarship essays. She edited and contributed to the 2012 children’s book “Ookie!”
Laura Beth received her B.A. in Communication Studies, Mass Media from Longwood University in 2011. She has participated in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) since November 2012.
Laura Beth currently resides with her husband, Al, and two dogs, in Portsmouth, Virginia.
