Week #14: A Talent You Have.
I’m grateful for being able to write well, as well as edit. I loved being the Copy Editor of Longwood’s newspaper, The Rotunda, for nearly two full years.
Now, I’m the “resident proofreader” at my work, and I love being able to help when called upon. It helps keep my skills sharp!
In addition, I’ve helped edit a children’s book, several resumes, and one dissertation.
I’m grateful that I’m able to share my talents with others!
Until the next headline, Laura Beth 🙂
It is definitely something to be proud of. And something we share. Everyone asks me when a question of Portuguese spelling or grammar comes up.
Awesome!
Awesome! I am the proof reader at my job as well!
Woohoo! Proofreaders, unite! I love it. I try not to cringe too much!
Ha ha! Same here. I realize we all make mistakes sometimes, but I have one lady whose grammar is so bad I wonder how she passed high school! I’m not trying to be mean, I just don’t understand how people don’t get the basics!
Ouch! That’s painful! Well, at least she has you to help save the day. You’re not being mean – You’re being honest. Not everyone is talented with grammar and punctuation, but we are!
Very true! 🙂
Side note: I have at least two friends who are doing their own versions of a Gratitude Challenge, and I have you to thank for it. You’re awesome, Kristian!
Thank you, Laura Beth! That’s so exciting!
You’re so welcome!
