  1. Wow! You’ve done really well! I’ve read 14.5…because I technically haven’t finished all of the Chronicles of Narnia books…I need to read more ha-ha!

  2. I read many of these books in elementary through high school. Much of my favorites were more realistic fiction such as Monster by Walter Dean Myers, To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee, and Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry by Mildred D. Taylor. I still have bot read Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger, I hope to read it someday. Many of the books on this list are considered classics and well worth a read.

    • Same here! I went on to read more from Myers, Lee, and Taylor because of these books. I want to re-read Catcher in the Rye at some point. Age brings new perspective. Thanks for reading, and commenting!
